One Thousand Summers

A poem from  a banquet of provincial and district governors, held in spring of the third year, on the first day of the first month, at provincial offices in Inaba province. 

The autumn paddy shacks have rough thatching and my sleeves are wet with dew*.

So spring ends and summer comes, now white robes hang to dry on Mount Amanokagu.
